What is mAadhaar App?
mAadhaar means mobile Aadhaar card or Aadhaar card in the wallet. It is an official mobile application developed by UIDAI. It is an interface for Aadhaar number holders. This application can be downloaded by any individual whose aadhaar card is mapped to their registered mobile number. The profile created in this application can now be used as valid ID proof at Airports, Railway stations. This app can also be used for eKYC.
How to create profile in m-Aadhaar App?
Download and launch mAadhaar App. Click on Register my Aadhaar button given on the top.
Enter four-digit pin. This pin will be used to open your profile. You can memorize it or write it somewhere.
Now provide your Aadhaar number and enter a security captcha. Click on the request OTP button. OTP will be generated and sent to your registered mobile number.
Click on verify button. Your profile will be registered. You will be able to see information registered on Aadhaar card. Once your profile is created you can use the following key features.
Key Features and Benefits of mAadhaar App
Aadhaar Service Dashboard view – You can access all your services from the dashboard. It also allows you to check the request status. The Services section on the dashboard is divided into three parts.

Under this section, you can download your regular Aadhaar and Masked Aadhaar card in the digital format. It also allows you to retrieve your lost of forgotten UID and EID. You can retrieve this information via mobile number or via email.
#2 Aadhaar Services

#3 Aadhaar Update
In this section, you can update your Address online via PIN. You can also request for address validation letter from this section.
