Personalize Setting

You can personalize Zerodha Kite3.0 and set your personal picture on login. This picture will be shown on the top at Login Icon.

Browser Notification

A new facility of Kite 3 allows you to get an important notification and all messages on Kite, despite you are using other applications.

Marketwatch & Dashboard

You can customize and make your own Marketwatch Dashboard. In this dashboard you can select your own fields. It also shows a summary of your equity portfolio holding in a visualized way. In addition to that, you can pin your favorite scrip on the top left corner.

Search and Filter Facility

Search or Filter facility is improved in a new version. Now you can search for specific scrips on your order book. You can also filter between buy and sell.

Universal Context Menu

You can view the Chart, Buy, Sell or add a script in Marketwatch from any of the reports like Holdings, Order Book or Position report. The universal context menu is more helpful for analysis and decision making purpose.

Floating order Window

A new feature of repositioning order window is introduced. You can place an order window floating anywhere on the screen. This makes order placement easy. Just drag and place an order.

Exit Multiple Orders/Positions

You can now select multiple open order positions and exit from all position with a single click. You need to filter order and click on cancel after selection.

Multiple Chart View

You can view multiple charts on the same screen. Drop down option allows you to select two charts or four chart scrip. This means you can see two or four stocks chart on the single screen. In addition to that, you can also use trade from chart facility.

Repeat Order from Context Menu

Context menu contains the option of a repeat order. If you want to quickly to place an order which was already placed once again you can use this option.

Fund Transfer 

Zerodha Kite has very good fund transfer facility. You can deposit or withdraw money from your account using UPI, Payment Gateway, IMPS/RTGS/NEFT. Fund withdrawal has specific time and it takes around 24 hours to transfer fund to your bank account.

How to Use Zerodha for Buying and Selling Shares?

  • Login at Kite platform (kite.zerodha.com) using your Zerodha Kite ID.
  • On the successful login you will find option called as market watch.
  • You need to click on that option and type a share name which you want to buy or sell.
  • You can also find the drop down in the dashboard from where you can select a share share for buy/sell.
  • If you want to add share in the watch list, click on the add button to add your share to the market watch.
  • Once the share is added to your marketplace, you will find options like buy, sell depth, and chart on your share.
  • You can click on the B or S icon to go to Buy or Sell Window.
  • You need to provide buy/sell quantity details and cut off price before placing the order.
