  1. Jagbir Singh says:

I completed my KYC before 2011. I tried to do E-KYC through Aadhaar on camsonline but it foes not work. It isonly for NEW investors not for existing Mutual Fund investors

Thid is not fair. Existing investors should also be given this facility.

  2. Makarand Randive says:

Nice Article. My query is that I have already registered in CAMS online and Karvy online without my Aadhar Card for FATCA. Do I need to register again for KYC with aadhar card no.?
And what if i have to make investements more than ₹ 50,000?

    • Dear Makarand, SEBI, the regulatory body, has provided guidance to restrict investments to Rs 50,000 per annum per Mutual Fund for OTP-based eKYC. However, should you want to invest more than that, you need to submit a document with your signature specimen at any of CAMS Investor Service Centers for CAMS serviced funds. If you have already register you need not to do KYC again.KYC should be done once in 10 year for low risk investor.
